What is Hypnotherapy ?

Hypnotherapy is a valuable tool with which past traumas can be released and established habits can be broken.  Even though our unconscious minds only ever seek to promote our well being, it can often be the seat of faulty learning from our childhood, leading to low self esteem, under achievement and sometimes even more serious problems.

Often our unconscious minds attempt to protect us by raising our fears and anxieties to irrational levels to keep us from a particular activity or stimulus it sees as dangerous.  With the use of hypnosis in therapy, a relearning process can take place unconsciously.

How does it work ?
The client is helped to relax deeply and is gently led into a relaxing trance, allowing the therapist to gain access to their unconscious mind.  Many old issues that affect our daily lives are stored at an unconscious level.

Clients can then become more accepting of both themselves and others, promoting personal development and unlocking their inner potential.

Relationship difficulties can be resolved and anger management strategies can be undertaken during therapy.
